The next day, I received a phone call that it would cost me $375 just to tell me what was wrong with the car. They then proceeded to tell me that it would cost $2500 to fix the stupid car, when it's only worth $1000 or so. For Pete's sake! I told them not to fix it and I'd just get a new car.
Not only did they not pay for the tow, my whole transmission was in thousands of pieces all over my back seat and trunk! The contents of my consule were strewn out all over my front seat (why, I'm not sure) and all my stuff was shoved to the back of my trunk and thrown on the backseat floor. UGH! These huge derelicts were the worst sort of mechanics I have ever had the unfortunate experience of dealing with.

Did you pay for that service, or did you stiff them, refuse ot pay for their work, and they reciprocated by putting all your parts in your trunk, since you obviously are not going to fix a $1000 car if the trans is bad. |
